Seasonal Holiday Lighting Installer

Location: West Chester, PA

This is an in-person, seasonal position based in West Chester, PA. Team members will report locally and travel with the crew to residential and commercial properties throughout Chester County and surrounding areas.

Full-time and flexible part-time opportunities may be available based on scheduling needs and seasonal workload.

Del Vacchio Landscapes & Christmas Decor is a high-end landscape, hardscape, and holiday decorating company. For more than 37 years, we have helped residential and commercial clients create beautiful outdoor environments and memorable seasonal experiences.

We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious Seasonal Holiday Lighting Installers to help install professional holiday lighting and decorations for our clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, working with a team, and seeing the immediate results of their work. Previous landscaping, construction, installation, maintenance, warehouse, or outdoor labor experience is helpful, but we are also open to motivated individuals who are ready to learn.

The position may be a good fit for college students, individuals looking for flexible seasonal work, or outdoor workers whose regular hours decrease during the fall and winter.

Key Responsibilities

Holiday Lighting and Decorating:

• Assist with installing holiday lights and outdoor decorations at residential and commercial properties.
• Safely work with ladders, lighting, extension cords, decorations, and installation equipment.
• Help install lighting and decorations along rooflines, trees, shrubs, walkways, buildings, and other designated areas.
• Follow installation plans and directions provided by crew leaders.
• Test lights and decorations to confirm that displays are working properly.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and replacement of lighting components.
• Help complete installations efficiently while maintaining the company's quality standards.
• Assist with removing holiday lighting and decorations at the end of the season.
• Carefully organize, label, pack, and store materials for future use.

Crew and Jobsite Support:

• Load and unload ladders, lighting, decorations, tools, and equipment.
• Help prepare materials before crews leave for scheduled installations.
• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe.
• Protect client properties, landscaping, buildings, and surrounding areas while working.
• Communicate professionally with crew leaders, coworkers, and clients.
• Follow company safety procedures and immediately report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Assist with other seasonal, landscape, or outdoor projects when needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work as scheduled.
• Comfortable performing hands-on work outdoors in changing fall and winter weather.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at elevated heights.
• Physically able to carry ladders, lighting, decorations, tools, and installation materials.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely as part of a crew.
• Strong attention to detail and respect for client property.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work efficiently without sacrificing safety or quality.
• Previous experience in holiday lighting, landscaping, construction, roofing, painting, maintenance, electrical work, warehouse operations, or outdoor labor is helpful but not required.
• Reliable transportation to the company's West Chester location required.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record preferred.
